740 Attend F2F 2012

With a light cover of clouds, the day was pleasantly warm with periods of cool breezes blowing across the pastured festival grounds. And while the initial arrival of the Kentucky Governor's Scholars caused a bit of a back-up at the entrance gates, our swelling crowd throughout the day easily flowed between the Festival's learn-shop sessions and the marketplace vendors.

Between the live animals showcased by EKU Farms, Hellwig Rambouillets and Wonder of Life Farm and the hand-churned Kentucky ice cream by Freeman and Wilma Beachy, many of the Festival's youth and adults alike came away with a better appreciation of the variety of agricultural commodities within Kentucky.


If you missed the Festival this year, mark your calendars now for 2013. The third annual Festival will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2013.

For those who wonder about the growth of the festival from 2011 to 2012, the final count is...drum roll...740 attendees at the 2012 Field to Fork Festival.
